synerG believes in promoting and sustaining the energy, vitality and contributions of young professionals in the Greensboro community. Serving as a portal and clearinghouse for young professionals, it advocates for increased membership and collaboration of young adult organizations. synerG strives to advance the leadership opportunities, voice, and quality of life for all young professionals in the Greensboro community.

Our affiliates include:

Challenge GreensboroGEDC's Challenge Greensboro program works to establish non-traditional leadership development programs to train minority populations to assume greater leadership responsibilities in the community. Leadership seminars are conducted over a nine month period covering a variety of topics critical to Greensboro's growth.

Future FundThe Future Fund, an initiative of the Community Foundation of Greater Greensboro, is dedicated to attracting, educating, and nurturing philanthropy in area young adults.

 


JayceesThe Greensboro Jaycees, with a membership of about 100 young adults, is dedicated to improving themselves by improving quality of life in the Greensboro area.

 


Junior LeagueThe Junior League of Greensboro, North Carolina, Inc., is an organization of women committed to promoting volunteerism, developing the potential of women, and improving the community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers.


Greensboro Chamber of CommerceLeadership Greensboro is one of several membership programs sponsored by the Greensboro Chamber of Commerce. Leadership Greensboro's mission is to prepare and nurture a diverse, broad-based group of citizens to assume responsible leadership roles throughout Greensboro for the purpose of strengthening and transforming our community.

 


North Carolina Network of Young Nonprofit ProfessionalsNorth Carolina's Network of Young Nonprofit Professionals (NCYT) is a statewide community of young adults working and volunteering in North Carolina's nonprofit sector.

United Arts Council Prelude Society
The Prelude Society of the United Arts Council of Greater Greensboro is a group of young adults interested in learning about the arts, enjoying the arts and supporting the arts.

 

Emerging LeadersUnited Way of Greater Greensboro's Emerging Leaders Initiative serves as a vehicle for young leaders to become active change agents through United Way. The purpose is to develop and integrate the next generation of leadership into United Way by creating an environment and structure for emerging leaders to carry out their community goals and aspirations.

Young Lawyers Division of the Greensboro Chapter of the North Carolina Bar AssociationThe Young Lawyers Division is a subdivision of the Greensboro Chapter of the North Carolina Bar Association. It is open to lawyers who are 34 years of age or younger or are within the first three years of practice.
