Why Greensboro:
I chose Greensboro because it has all the big city accommodations and opportunities with a small town feel. Because of the before mentioned, Greensboro gives me the opportunity to make an impact professionally and throughout the community on a larger scale and more rapidly. Read more & see video

Leadership Initiative Talk it Up! Downtown Performing Arts Center Leadership Lunch

    Friday, June 8, 2012 / 12noon to 1:30pm

Downtown Greensboro Inc. is leading an effort to promote the benefits of a performing arts center (PAC) in Downtown Greensboro.  As more residents understand what a Downtown PAC will mean to an enriched lifestyle and economic growth, they’ll agree it’s a great decision and help spread the word.

Join synerG and Downtown Greensboro Inc. on Friday, June 8th for a conversation about the potential for a Downtown Performing Arts Center and how you can help.

    Friday, June 8th

    12noon to 1pm

A performing arts center in Downtown Greensboro will open in 2016 if we decide on it now. If we wait to start, it will be difficult to catch up with other cities.

It’s a game changer, a catalytic project. Like Center City Park and NewBridge Bank Ballpark, the PAC will enhance our lives and make our city even better.

A Downtown PAC will work in harmony with dozens of organizations and facilities already in downtown.

People from across the region will visit the PC and support our locally owned shops, restaurants, and clubs they stroll to shows in a lively setting.

When public funds are invested in Downtown Greensboro, private development springs up around it. For every $1 that’s been invested publicly Downtown for major projects in the past few years, it’s resulted in $13 in private investments.

Downtown already handles parking and traffic for over 21,000 workers every day and can easily meet the needs of people going to shows at the PAC.

Now is the time for bold choices to help reach our vision of new growth, energy and creativity in downtown Greensboro.
