Lead Your City is synerG’s premier annual leadership conference designed for early-career professionals who are ready to grow, connect, and make an impact. On Tuesday, September 1, more than 200 emerging leaders from Greensboro and across the Triad will come together at The Conference Center at GTCC for a day of learning, meaningful connection, and real-world application.
As we celebrate the 10th anniversary of Lead Your City, this year’s experience is built around three pillars:

Throughout the day, attendees will participate in interactive workshops, engage in guided networking, and learn alongside professionals from a variety of industries and backgrounds. Programming is informed by the Guilford County Talent & Workplace Survey to ensure sessions reflect the skills and leadership qualities employers value most.

Alumni Reception
Help us celebrate 10 years of Lead Your City with a special On Tap honoring the people and connections that have shaped synerG over the years! This reception is open to Lead Your City attendees and anyone who participated in synerG during the past 20 years and is no longer actively involved. Reconnect with familiar faces, meet others across generations of the synerG community, and celebrate this milestone with an open beer and wine bar. Reception-only tickets are available for $25.
Keynote Speaker
Meet our Lead Your City 2026 keynote speaker, Megan Oglesby! As Principal Investor of Carolina Core FC and Senior Advisor to the Earl and Kathryn Congdon Family Foundation, Megan’s work has centered on creating access to opportunity, investing in our region, and mentoring emerging leaders. On September 1, she’ll take the Lead Your City stage to share her journey and kick off a day focused on owning your growth, building real relationships, and taking action.
